Another Fund Jumps into Distressed Mortgages

The number of funds looking to make money in distressed mortgages continues to grow. On Thursday, Denver-based MountainView Capital Holdings, LLC announced the initial closing of its MountainView Mortgage Opportunities Fund, LP, saying that the fund had raised approximately $80 million primarily from qualified institutional investors.
